October 6, 2016: "Opportunities at Sea" - offered shipping’s next generation workforce a chance to explore job opportunities at sea, at Tsakos Auditorium
Captain Panagiotis Tsakos, Mr. Nicolas A. Pappadakis and Mr. George A. Tsavliris shared there sea experience with the audience.

June 10, 2016: “Young Executives Shipping” (YES) - participating in a forum during Posidonia for the next generation to meet the shipping world at Metropolitan Expo. Offered a paid internship to a candidate from the audience.

April 23, 2016: “NIATA PSILA – My perspective determines my success in Shipping” - an insightful seminar by Dr. John Kalogerakis (Business coach and trainer) for students and graduates at Eugenides Foundation. The audience was inspired by the speaker and the NPO’s initiative for self-development and self-awareness seminars and many of them offered themselves as volunteers for upcoming actions and asked for more seminars by Dr Kalogerakis.

March 9, 2016: “Meet the Shipping Community fun-d-raising event” offered shipping’s next generation workforce, a chance to meet and hear firsthand what the industry expects of them, from principals of some very distinguished shipping companies and directors within the maritime industry at Plan B. Mr. George A. Tsavliris became Honorary Chairman. Captain Panagiotis Tsakos, Mr. Nicolas A. Pappadakis and Mr. George A. Tsavliris shared spoke to the audience and became Founder Members of Project Connect. Dr. Glykas of Dynamarine offered an internship and Mr. Marmatsouris of GAC discussed with the young generation of shipping.

November 10, 2015: “Executive Breakfast Meeting” to introduce Project Connect value for shipowners at Piraeus Marine Club. Project Connect’s first official meeting with ship owners and HR Managers. Mr. George Gourdomichalis, Mr. John Xylas & Mr. Ilias Tsakiris supported actively this initiative right after the meeting.

March 18, 2015: “Business Image & the Art of Savoir Faire” - a seminar presented by Ms. Dina Capnissi for students and graduates at Project Connect’s premises.

May 27, 2015: Non-Profit Organization, PROJECT CONNECT Young Professionals in-the-Making was created by Irene Notias, Katia Galouka, Effie Kotika & Eleni Economopoulou. This is an offspring and inspiration since 2012 of 3 ladies who are HR Experts and Managers: Angeliki Livanou, Efharis Perpinia, and Irene Notias. The development of user friendly internship programs for employers who do not take on interns normally to avoid the hassles and burdens.
