The first e-mails are exchanged.

    The Public Elementary Schools of Piraeus celebrate the Adopt a Ship program 1st pilot finale in an evening festival of presentations about Shipping and Seafaring and request for more vessels to expand the program.

The audience is inspired by the speaker and the NPO’s initiative for self-development and self-awareness seminars; many offered themselves as volunteers for upcoming actions and asked for more seminars by Dr Kalogerakis.

Shipping’s next generation workforce meets and listens to principals of distinguished shipping companies and directors within the maritime cluster state what the industry expects of them. Shipping giants, Captain Panagiotis Tsakos, Nicolas A. Pappadakis and George A. Tsavliris shared memoirs with the students and graduates. Dr. Alexander Glykas, Dynamarine offers a paid internship and Mr. Nikos Marmatsouris, GAC discusses the several sectors of shipping that offer job opportunities .
